About me
I first became interested in alternative medicine and homeopathy when my daughter was diagnosed with asthma, aged 4 years. I wanted to find a more natural alternative to the medications prescribed for her and eventually managed to find a regime that worked for her that included homeopathic remedies, breathing techniques and using an air purifier.
Later on I decided to become a homeopath which involved four years academic study of Classical Homeopathy at Purton House School of Homeopathy, part of Thames Valley University. My education involved the study of anatomy and physiology, pathology, homeopathic philosophy and materia medica. I have recently completed a research project into the effects of homeopathic treatment on conditions involving gross tissue change including endometriosis, scarring, osteolysis and cancer.
Food sensitivity has also been part of my life for over 30 years as I have a personal and family history of coeliac disease, an increasingly common condition of the gut involving intolerance to wheat, barley, maize, rye and oats. As my experience in homeopathy and health issues developed I discovered that a great many people have become sensitive to many ordinary foods and substances in our environment and following this I trained to be a Vega test practitioner.
As part on my ongoing training and development I have qualified as a Liz Lalor Infertility Programme Practitioner. This is a method that utilises homeopathic remedies to address issues of infertility in both men and women.
