Timekeeping

Please arrive on time for your appointment as it is likely that we will need to use all the time
allocated to evaluate your case.

Medicines

Please bring a list of any prescribed or over the counter medicines that you are taking and
tell your practitioner about any medical diagnoses that you have had.

Payment and cost of remedies

Please note that payment is due at the time of the appointment and can be made by cash,
cheque or bank transfer (in advance).

Cost of homeopathic remedies

The fee for homeopathy consultations includes the cost of homeopathic remedies
prescribed for you. Repeat prescriptions or replacement remedies that have been lost or
damaged will be charged for.

Cancellations

We require 48 hours’ notice of cancellation if appointments cannot be kept.

Short notice cancellations

We will do our best to fill cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment time but if
we are unable to do so then the full consultation fee will be charged. However, in most
cases, this fee can be waived if at the time of cancellation another appointment can be
made within one month and subsequently kept.

Non-attendance

If an appointment is not kept and no cancellation notice is given then the full consultation
fee will be charged.

Practitioner cancellation

If a practitioner is unable to attend a consultation due to illness or extenuating circumstances
then we will give as much notice as possible of the cancellation and will offer a suitable
replacement appointment as soon as possible.

Telephone consultations

For those who have had a consultation within three months, telephone advice (up to 15
minutes) is given free of charge.
If however it is more than three months since your last consultation then it is likely that an
additional case history will be required and this will then be charge at our current published
rate.

Confidentiality

All information given during a consultation will be treated in the strictest confidence and all
paperwork will be kept according to the Data Protection Act 1993.
If you would like us to confer with other health professionals that you are consulting then we
will ask you to give us written permission detailing the parties concerned.
In accordance with legal requirements, exceptions to this will be made if we believe a client
may be about to harm themselves or others, or if they have a notifiable disease.

Treatment plan

Your treatment plan will be discussed with you and you will be able to contribute to the
suggested approach.

Disabled access

Disabled access is available at the Finchampstead clinic but we would be grateful for
advance notice in order that preparations can be made.
